does anyone else find this.
when they go on users blog their jaws crashes
i've really noticed this- as all the other pages on the site are fine
depends on what version of jaws you're using; in my experience, anyway.
that used to happen with 9, but hasn't happened since I got the latest version.

You can work around this, I find. Once you use the H key to navigate to the blog heading, do *not* use any form of quick navigation key commands from there. Scroll or tab down to where you want to be, whether posting or reading. JAWS shouldn't crash if you do this. I'm using JAWS12 here, and it does crash if I try to press F for form field, or C for combo box.
haha, that would be a bug I think maybe someone would be so good as to bring it up to the admins?
No, that would be a Jaws bug if anything. So they would be the ones to fix it, not us. We don't cater to Jaws.
Guess the best advice so far, people, is to get the latest version and do things the old fashion way.
I've actually had a problem with the BrailleNote on the blog page. Whenever I go to type in it, it freezes. That may be a BrailleNote issue though. I wouldn't put it past the fantastic designers of the Apex.
Hmm. I should test this with NVDA. has anyone else had it crash with other screen readers? (Window eyes, System Access, Voiceover, ETC.)
I feel like such an inferrior outcast on here with my BrailleNote. Everyone else usually complains about Jaws and other screen readers, and I've been the only one who gets annoyed and frustrated with the BrailleNote and its problems. Hahaha.
no, I haven't had an issue with jaws crashing on the blog page. then again, I'm using a more recent version, so that's probably why.
